Last week, the Centre for Social Innovation hosted The Accelerator - a two-day "venture development bootcamp" for the ten winners of the first phase of the ClimateSpark Social Venture Challenge. ClimateSpark is a three-phase experiment in open innovation, intended to find, support and launch ventures that tackle the causes of climate change. In the first phase, we received 60 project submissions, which were reduced to the ten best by an audience of 20 experts and 2,000 community members.read more
