Barbara Kellerman, Followership

This in an interview from the archives. I talked to Professor Barbara Kellerman in 2008, shortly after the release of her book Followership: How Followers are Creating Change and Changing Leaders.  (She has just released a new book, Leadership: Essential Selections on Power, Authority and Influence.) Barbara is the James MacGregor Burns Lecturer in Public Leadership at Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy’s School of Government. She’s published numerous books and articles, and has wrestled with the challenges of power, authority and influence for more than 30 years.
