CYBF and Intuit Canada, the providers of QuickBooks, teamed up earlier this year to offer existing CYBF entrepreneurs the chance to be part of a financial literacy learning opportunity called the Financial Bridge Builders. After careful review, we are pleased to announce the ten CYBF participants in the program: Andrew Tait (BC) – Tait Laboratories Inc. Patrick Cornish (ON) – Benjamin Daedfyshe Footwear Geneviève Shaw (QC) – Au Café Show Philippe Pâquet-De Varennes (QC) – Gazon Synthétique Québec Inc. Jessica Ross (NS) – Gold Island Bakery Neil Melanson (NS) – Viva Health Centre Each participant will receive: A one-year free subscription to QuickBooks Online (QBO); One-on-one coaching with an Intuit Pro Advisor Accountant who will help them integrate QBO into their business and provide answers to their financial questions surrounding their business and; A paid trip to Toronto to attend a two-day Financial Literacy Workshop on October 9 and 10, 2013, at the Toronto Region Board of Trade & CYBF National Office where they will get financial literacy advice, have access to business subject-matter experts and can build their business network.
