The Canadian Youth Business Foundation has selected 30 dynamic young Canadian entrepreneurs to form the official Canadian delegation at 2012 G20 Young Entrepreneur Summit (G20 YES) in Mexico City, Mexico on June 3 -5, 2012. The G20 YES is an annual international summit that brings together dedicated and influential entrepreneurs of the G20 countries. Jasmine Gervais is a Canadian delegate. First name / last name:  Jasmine Gervais My motto: Everything happens for a reason My Company Name: Orangerine Activity: Interactive Agency Number of employees: 4 Headquarters’ Address: 1435 Montcalm Street, Montréal, Québec, H2L 3G9 Website: www.orangerine.com My life as an entrepreneur The Trigger: Why did you become an entrepreneur: As a self-employed creative working in both the cinema and advertisement industry, I wanted a production platform flexible enough to allow the development of creative projects in a wide variety of realms. With Orangerine, we push the boundaries of advertisement, exploring the endless opportunities of mix medias and interactive technologies, while nurturing a vibrant artistic incubator suitable for the development of innovative cultural projects. My best moment as an entrepreneur, my success: Significant moments can be fairly humble ones. As a rather young entrepreneur, the most significant moment in my career was the hiring of our first employee. That moment was marking the beginning of a whole new dynamic between us three partners. That was the moment where we really started to think like a company, as opposed to think like self-employed professionnals. My next challenge: Develop major interactive projects for advertising and cultural purposes heavily relying on mix medias; video, motion design, mobile/web apps, experiental marketing, etc.
