From November 28 until December 19, 33 law firms in Toronto participated in the annual Law Firm Challenge – competing agains each other to see who can raise the most money for Daily Bread Food Bank. We’d like to thank all the law firms that participated this year. They helped raise an amazing $245,000 for Daily Bread Food Bank which will allow us to distribute food to 170 member agencies across the city. This challenge has raised more than $1.5 million over the years and is Daily Bread’s biggest employee drive through the holiday season. The challenge is spearheaded by Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP and a special thank you goes out to the students at Blake who invested so much of their time and passion to helping a good cause. Congratulations to McLeish Orlando LLP who were the top fundraising firm and raised a total of $37,041. This was the first year they have participated in the Law Firm Challenge and we look forward to them coming on board next year to defend their title.
