Daily Bread’s Spring Drive to fill the cupboard begins this week WHAT: Spring Drive                Daily Bread’s Spring Drive to fill the cupboard and fill the fridge, begins this week and runs until April 6. Gail Nyberg, Daily Bread’s executive director, will join high school students participating in our March Break educational program to announce the drive goals and kick off the Spring Drive at Daily Bread’s warehouse. WHEN: Thursday, March 14, 2013 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. High school students will be sorting and packing food. 10:30 a.m. Gail Nyberg will announce Spring Drive goals and speak to the students about hunger. WHERE: Daily Bread Food Bank at 191 New Toronto Street (Off Islington, north of Lakeshore) GENERAL FOOD DRIVE INFORMATION The fastest, easiest way to make a financial donation is online at www.dailybread.ca. You can also donate by phone with a credit card by calling 416-203-0050 weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Non-perishable food donations can be dropped off at any local fire hall or a participating grocery store.
